Thomas Roueché
My long-standing engagement with cultural institutions includes developing long-term strategies and working to connect better with local and international audiences, whether through editorial, publicity, or curatorial strategies. I also have experience in project fundraising and grant management.
Most recently I worked with the Kiraathane Istanbul Literature House on a broad range of programming, strategy work, fundraising and grant applications. Kiraathane is a literary organisation in a historic town house in Istanbul that works to create a physical space for free expression and the celebration of literature.
I have also worked with the Prince Claus Fund in the Netherlands on a wide range of ediorial and strategy projects such as their vision for the future, and worked as an editorial consultant at the European Cultural Fund. Between 2011 and 2015 I worked with RWF Films as a research and strategy consultant for the Kurdistan Museum in Erbil.
